Beacon Hill House

Perched above the Essex coastline, Beacon Hill House is a striking example of historical interiors reimagined for contemporary living. Once home to a 17th-century merchant, this character-filled property retains its classical elegance — including a belvedere on the roof offering sweeping views across the Blackwater Estuary.

I was commissioned to provide interior photography for this beautifully remodelled home. The brief was to capture the balance between old and new — where modern comforts meet timeless design.

The interiors have been meticulously restored and restructured, with clean sightlines, warm tones, and refined details throughout. Natural light flows gracefully through the space, enhancing the classical symmetry and the modern, muted palette that now defines the home.

This interior photography shoot focused on expressing the harmony between heritage and contemporary living — told through texture, tone, and the quiet presence of light.
